Eine gestalterisch anspruchsvolle Akustikwand mit dem Thema Raumbeleuchtung zu verknüpfen, ist durch eine neue Variante unseres Serienprodukts O'Tool möglich geworden, O'Tool Akustik.
Das hier verwendete Akustikmaterial NITONA® von M & K Filze, kann entweder "pur" oder mit 3 mm Filz verkleidet eingesetzt werden. Rückseitig auf den NITONA®-Platten befinden sich die nötigen elektronischen Bauteile. Die kleinen LED-Kugeln mit einem Durchmesser von 28 mm werden nach der Montage der Platten von vorne eingesteckt. Jede Kugel hat eine Leistung von
1 Watt und liefert 100 Lumen. Lichtfarbe auf Wunsch; auch blaues, rotes oder grünes Licht kann eingesetzt werden. Eine Farbmischung (RGB) ist in diesem System bisher nicht vorgesehen. Die Höhe des Wandaufbaus richtet sich nach der gewünschten schallabsorbierenden Leistung.

Die Lichtwellen der O'Tool Akustik erzeugen ein sehr angenehmes Grundlicht im Raum und sind auf Wunsch in verschiedenen Varianten dimmbar (DALI, Phansenan- / -abschnitt, 1-10 Volt). Zusätzlich ist es möglich, die Steuerung so anzulegen, dass jede Kugel einzeln gedimmt und geschaltet werden kann, um so die Welle zu animieren. In das Steuergerät können vier Programme eingespeist werden - zum Beispiel "Welle in Bewegung" oder "langsames auf und ab Dimmen aller Kugeln gleichzeitig" - , die dann je nach Wunsch abgerufen werden.

We have looked at the two topics „acoustic absorbtion“ and „illumination“ and have come up with a product that is not only functional but also aesthetically very pleasing: A special sound absorbing version of our modular lighting system O'Tool, O'Tool Akustik.

The acoustic panels – made of NITONA®, a material produced by the German company M & K Filze - are very light weight. The surface can also be refined by natural felts in different colors, ranging from shades of white, grey and brown to crimson red, orange or yellow, just to name a few. The electronic elements are accomodated on the back of each panel, the small LED globes (28 mm in size, output 1 watt, 100 lumens each) are plugged in after the assembly. On request the globes can be switched on and off and dimmed, thus animating the wave. Colored light on request (no RGB).
